We are now able to obtain excellent results with the modern range of fillers. In particular, for this purpose we use a product called Voluma. This is manufactured by Allergan, is FDA approved and is part of the Juvederm range.

We are now able to obtain better results with a simple office procedure than with previous surgical procedures under general anaesthetic. At the aesthetic surgery clinic we find that this is one of our most popular procedures. The results last up to 18 months.

The manufacture of dermal fillers in the UK is very poorly regulated. In contrast, the regulations in the US are very strict. Dr Kingdon performs these treatments himself and only uses the Juvedern range that is
